About Course

The objective of IIT Delhi’s Executive Programme for Tech Product Management is to enable learners to become proficient tech product managers who can successfully conceptualize, develop, launch, and manage tech products. This programme will equip learners with the skills and insights required to make strategic decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in the tech product space.

The course will have a majority of experiential and hands-on learning content, which will be taught by top faculty members and experts with technology, management, across-industry, and start-up backgrounds. The learnings will be valuable for graduates willing to get into Tech PM roles, Entrepreneurs Interested to launch Product/Service based Start-ups, Early Career Product and Marketing Professionals, and Managers keen on building a robust tech product management capability in their organisation.

Module 2: Product Ideation
Framework/Approaches when building a new product.

Module 3: Product Strategy
Understanding stakeholders’ needs, wants to suit different forms of delivery. To develop a connected ecosystem of tech products to power the entire business. To define high level features of tech products.

Module 4: Product Roadmap
To understand prioritisation, planning, sequencing, resource allocation/requirements, build timelines, cost-benefit analysis.

Module 5: Product Design and Discovery
Understand visual aspects, front-end of tech products.

Module 6: Product Development
Understand development, execution, timeline adherence, sprint management, team management, and fixing delays. To understand tech development and deployment pipeline, and processes.

Module 7: Product Marketing
To understand how to promote and market tech products, customer engagement, branding, positioning.

Module 8: Capturing Data
To decide what types of data to be captured and knowhow of web analytics tools to be used for the same purpose.

To analyse the captured data

Capstone Project – Build Your Own Product
Bring your own product in our innovative BYOP model, building it under expert guidance of IIT Delhi's seasoned faculty. Capstone project of 40 hours will run in parallel to the modules throughout the programme. 1 Hour of Doubt Clarification & Project Mentoring, after each class (on demand).
